Celebrating the Advent Season at the Church of the Epiphany

The Advent Season was celebrated with great fervor and spirit at the Church of the Epiphany, Gurgaon. Bonfire night was celebrated on the 17th of December and this was a day when the Bonfire was lit and carols were sung.

On the 22nd of December, we observed the nine lessons and nine carols of Worship in the Church. This was yet another event that saw many parishioners turning up at the church despite the cold winter night.

A very special thanks to Ms Rani Ingty and Ms Gurjeet Louise for the amazing soup that energized all of us through the chill of a winter's evening! Ms Ingty has never let down the tradition of serving nice, piping-hot soup to all and sundry.

The Church of The Epiphany Gurgaon Hosts its Christmas Fete on the Tenth of December 2023

The Chruch of the Epiphany, Civil Lines, Gurgaon hosted its Annual Christmas fete this year on the tenth of December. The Fete was graced by the Rt. Reverend, Dr Paul Swaroop was accompanied by Mrs Neena Swaroop, the First Lady of the Diocese.

The Fete formally declared open by Dr Paul Swaroop, started at 11:30 a.m. after Sunday Mass. The event witnessed the presence of a large number of parishioners, their close relatives and friends. There was an atmosphere of togetherness, good cheer and fellowship as people gathered over good food, games and conversations.

Last but not least, the icing on the cake was the Raffle-ticket draw. There were a large number of prizes to be won on the day and many of those present were not disheartened by the wait. The fete ended by 5:15 p.m.
