The Church of The Epiphany, Civil Lines Annual Garden Fete 2019

This year too, like every year, all the members of the Church of The Epiphany, Gurgaon came together as one large family to celebrate the Annual Garden Fete on the 8th of December, 2019. The Chief Guest on the occasion was the Rt. Revd. Warris K.Masih, the Bishop of the Diocese of Delhi (C.N.I.).

Dedication and release of the brouchure.

There was excitement in the air as everyone gathered in the lawns to partake in the fellowship, games, food and catching up with things. The band, IGNIA regaled all those present with latest numbers. There were a lot of activities to take part in like musical chairs, auction of hampers, drawing competitions and of course the raffle-draw.

And Mrs Sheba Samuel took centre stage and proved what a great singer she happens to be! Great to know that there are members in the congregation who can give the others a run for their money! Great singing though! She was joined later on by Shikha Eileen, giving voice to the Women's Fellowship of the church.

Unlike the previous years, however, the garden fete took place in the month of December rather in November.

It was indeed a nice moment to get to meet each other, especially those whom we had missed for some time. It was great to see J.J. Jaipreet Joshi with his daughter.

The stalwarts of the White Elephant stall, I was able to get them to pose for the shutter-bug!

Nalini's surprise that she got the tail somewhere in the right place is writ large on her face!

The whole gang, Lals, predominantly!

A candid moment, all smiles for the camera!

A long-distance shot, Joshua Ma'am, you're in the frame!

Busy signing the check, my Uncle Revd. Patrick Lal and Mrs Mall.

Goggles hi goggles! Well, I told Deepika to wear hers so that she could be part of the rest!

In conversation, Mrs Sen et al.

Tete a tete with Mr Jeevan

Mr Henry Mall in a pensive mood.

Planning the next event? The Masseys

What harm can it do to be fed? Take a quick bite before the shutterbug catches up!

A loud shout out for the beast of burden and its lost tail. A lot of people ended up placing the tail where it shouldn't have been!

Fait accompli!

As if feeding the donkey would have made a difference! Come on, what is that bottle doing in the Donkey's mouth and what if the tail doing in your pocket!

And then, last but not least, a loud shoutout for Revd. Daman, the Presbyter in Charge of the Church of the Epiphany, the one behind the scene.
