The Confirmation Service for 19 candidates was led by The Rt. Revd. Dr. Paul Swaroop on Sunday the 13th of August, 2023. The pews Church of the Epiphany at Civil Lines, Gurgaon were filled with parishioners and guests.
The Sunday School children did their best to make the occasion very special. Their presentation was simply exceptional. A lot of credit goes to the Sunday School teachers who worked very hard with these little ones!
One could see the excitement and anxiousness on the faces of the candidates, and the parents seemed to be proud to see their wards stand at the altar, fully communicant church members. My niece was among the candidates who were confirmed that day.
The service was well conducted and everything fitted nicely in the schedule under the guidance of the Presbyter in Charge, Revd. Daman Rodgers, members of the Pastorate Committee members of the Youth Fellowship, and the Sunday School Teachers. The music was provided by Timothy, Colonel I.B. Thomas and Mr. Sircar. The service ended with the singing of the National Anthem.
